About the Position:

Stunlock Studios is currently working on V Rising, a dark fantasy vampire survival game released in Early Access on Steam in 2022.

We are now looking to expand our team with an experienced Character Artist.

As a Character Artist, your job is to create and develop high-quality game characters, ensuring they align with the artistic and technical guidelines of the game.

You will work closely with the Art Director and Game Director to bring their visions to life by delivering character designs and models that enhance the visual experience of the game.

What You Will Do:

• Create and develop high-quality game characters.  
• Ensure all character models align with the game's artistic style and technical guidelines.
• Collaborate with other artists and team leaders to achieve a cohesive visual experience in the game.
• Follow production plans and work within given time frames.
• Stay updated on trends in character design and the 3D industry.
• Responsible for the character pipeline from high-poly modeling to character implementation in the game engine.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in character design and modeling in the gaming industry.
• Good understanding of character pipelines and technical requirements.
• Ability to work efficiently within given time frames.
• Strong foundation in human and animal anatomy.

Bonuses:

• Experience working with Unity.
• Maya skills.
• Proficiency in Swedish.
